What is educational leave?
Educational leave (Bildungsurlaub) allows employees in Germany to take time off work to attend approved educational courses, such as language programs, without losing pay. Our educational leave Spanish classes have been officially certified by the German government and are accredited for these extra educational vacations called "Bildungsurlaub".
Why choose us?
Flexible And Convenient: Our courses start every Monday, and you can choose from 1- or 2-week durations, ensuring that you can fit this course into your schedule. We offer small, personalized classes with a maximum of 8 students per group, so you get plenty of attention and support.
Fully Inclusive: All materials are included, and we tailor your learning experience to match your language level, from A1 to B2. Plus, our courses are compatible with additional activities like surfing or kitesurfing. For those who love the water, we offer optional surf lessons as an extra, with compatible timetables for both Spanish and surf courses.
Accommodation: Stay at Casa Carmen, our student house with stunning ocean views from the rooftop terrace directly above the language school in Corralejo, the perfect spot to unwind after class.

How does the process work?
Interested in spending your educational leave at Spanish & Surf?
- Contact Us: Let us know the dates you're interested in for your Spanish course. This is completely free and without obligation. We'll respond within 48 hours with availability and pricing details.
- Educational Leave Documents: If we have availability for your preferred dates, we'll send you the necessary documents to request Educational Leave from your employer and reserve your spot at no extra cost or obligation.
- Finalize Your Booking: Once you receive approval from your employer, we'll complete your booking and get ready to welcome you to sunny Fuerteventura!
Once you complete the course, you'll receive your official Bildungsurlaub certificate at no extra cost to show to your employer as proof of your participation.
