Cancellation policy

We offer a simple, stress-free cancellation policy under two scenarios:

1) Cancellations before arriving in Fuerteventura

If you decide to cancel your reservation (for any reason) before your course begins or before your check-in date at Casa Carmen, you won’t be charged anything at all for any of the booked services (accommodation and courses).

2) Cancellations during your stay in Fuerteventura

  • Accommodation

Are fully refundable without giving any reason, as long as you notify us at least 72 hours in advance.

  • Regular Spanish course

Are fully refundable without giving any reason, as long as you notify us at least 72 hours in advance.

  • Bildungsurlaub Spanish course

BU courses are not refundable once the student has started.

(*) Bildungsurlaub courses may only be booked in indivisible blocks of 5 or 10 days, unless the applicant submits proof of a reduced working schedule or a part-time contract. Please note that any missed sessions due to flight arrangements will not constitute valid grounds for reducing the official course duration.

  • Surf School

When a student notifies the surf school of any changes in advance, the possible scenarios are:

Less than 24 hours’ notice: Non-refundable. Cancellations or changes are not allowed.

24–48 hours’ notice: Non-refundable. Cancellations are not allowed, but one session change is permitted. Please note that the rescheduled session is not refundable.

72 hours’ notice or more: 100% refundable.
